This loser: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showt...2614&perpage=6&highlight=atticus&pagenumber=1 You sold $45.60, the bottom of the move, never to visit $45.60 again... your spread blew-out, recall?

Now, please elaborate on your 4x return with short puts.

In any event, you were friendly to me as riskarb, so I've no dog in this fight. Good luck with your long.

Long ????

I'm short you nut :p

Actually I sold a Put vert spread 65 / 60's

And on that QQQQ spread I lost the premium I received which was only .60 so no biggie.

:)

Selling a put vertical implies a credit and therefore is long delta. Long delta = long spot.

So which is it? Are you long or short CROX?

A vertical put spread above the market is a short bias.

I'm also short the stock but .50 higher then were we are today. 60.45

No, for the remedial among us: A short put vertical is long spot; a long put vertical is short spot. The relationship between strike and spot will impact theta, but not directional bias.

*** So wtf. Are you long or short deltas on your CROX option position? ***

You're short shares? Stupid is as stupid does. You're debating in favor of CROX valuation, but you're in an unlimited risk short?

Please elaborate on your 4x profit potential. It just keeps getting better.

Dude,

Are you a foreigner or do you not read English ?????

Why not READ what I've written and then pull your head out of your ass ...

or do I need to go back and get the quotes myself for you ?

I'm clearly arguing against the product and current valuation.

Quote from Joab:

If I'm wrong I lose minimal because I'm smart enough to hedge against human stupidity BUT if I'm right I will gain 4x my potential lose.

That's good enough for me on this kind of trade.

If you want to bet against me that's easy enough for you to do ... just buy the puts I'm selling on the long end of the hedge. :)

Don't bother -- there's your quote.

How is this to be interpreted? BETTING AGAINST YOU in buying the puts... your words.

You don't know how to define a simple vertical. Shorting a 60/65 put vertical is long spot.

You're a complete numb nut.

I defended a knob like you against riskarb ????

What in the world was I thinking

Atticus = Riskarb. Shocking. Work on those comprehension skills. An pop-up book on options may help.

Actually I do owe you an apology I did accidentally write 65 60 put spread when I meant to write 60 65 vert call spread.

My fault
