I think political corruption has always been this prevalent, it's just easier nowadays to gather or access the information so it seems like it's getting worse, the problem is once you start becoming aware of whats going on the more you see.. What makes me wonder is how people will so easily and willingly defend lies....now that speaks volumes about the true character or lack of.
