She played so obviously however into their contempt for ordinary people and conservatives that they just couldn't leave her alone. I understand the klannish support Palin's politics, okay.
However taking a position that she is intellectually and thick skinned enough for the job of president (yes, she has admitted to being open to the job) really makes a thinking person question the mental development of those who are apologizing and defending Palin.

The real question is: who do you want running the country when the real competition is NOT somebody from the other party, but guys like Putin (you just KNOW he's coming back - Officially), Hu Jintao, Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il, etc etc... You don't want any Idiots or puppet-heads.
