We better get our shit together soon. The morons are turning into mobs and the lynchings won’t be far behind.
This is what happens when a district proposes teaching it in schools. The push-back from parents (and teachers) is growing rapidly.
This also gets back to school district administrators and school boards trying to claim they don't teach Critical Race Theory while actually teaching all the aspects of CRT under a different name so they can attempt to deflect by saying they don't teach it. This re-direction tactic is getting old and easily unmasked for the nonsense it is by simply looking as the assignments, lessons, and syllabus of history classes.

My favorite professor in school was /is a well published Crit.
I also agreed with him on many of the concerns he brought up.
For instance blacks did get screwed by red lining....
But... I disagree (with those who would say) that my kids not giving a shit about color is still racist.
At some point... treating everyone equally is the right thing and a good thing and not a racist thing.
We should not be using race or anything else to divide society.

Are you sure the district actually proposed teaching this in the local schools?
See this is the problem right wingers run into when they admit that things like red lining did happen and it created a disadvantage for blacks - now you have to come to a conclusion that suffer a disadvantage that would give whites an advantage in the competition of education, employment and housing.
This is why we still have black and white neighborhoods and schools. Having that creates a competition for resources based on race.
Not caring about race is not exactly right, as a matter of fact you should care about race because one race is systematically disadvantaged. If we are to live up to our ideals of “rugged individualism” it doesn’t exactly work if we know a whole group of people is disadvantaged.
