One irony of this debate is that if Democrats wanted to turn the issue against the Republicans, they would have a much richer fact pattern available to them.
To be clear, implying that the Republican Party or its program inherently facilitates sexual abuse would be false. The vast majority of Republican voters and officials, like everybody else, recoil at sex crimes. The crimes of a handful of deviants don’t amount to a conspiracy or even a pattern.
What is true about the Republican Party is that some of its members are still willing to support fellow Republicans even after learning of their sexual exploitation of minors.

How do parents raise two kids that are 12 years old and then the 12-year-olds get married because one is pregnant ?
It would seem the parents raised the 12-year-olds along with raising their grandchild.
I know someone like that in Hillview, Kentucky. She became a grandmother at 35 years of age and later a great-grandmother at 51 years of age...her daughter, grand-daughter, and great grand-daughter all live at home with her.
Hillview is a strong Christian community with good family values.

I believe Governor Ron DeSantis was a teacher for a while after he graduated from Yale.
If Innervoice (he lives in Florida) didn't behave as an ignorant racist that desires to be a sexy woman with an assault weapon...he or maybe she could be a teacher by occupation too that creates threads like this online.
There are research and studies for the United States and the United Kingdom (England) that show the most common occupation of children sex groomers are in fact...teachers.

Research on reported sexual grooming between teachers and students began somewhere around the 1980s but, with the arrest of former Pennsylvania State football coach Jerry Sandusky for numerous counts of child sexual abuse, the concept of sexual grooming became more public and recognized in the most recent decade.
Following the Sandusky cases, sexual grooming has been implicated in other high-profile organizations involving such large groups as the Catholic Church, the Boy Scouts, and numerous public and private schools. (Winters, Jeglic & Kaylor, 2020)
Sexual abuse tactics have been found to be used by30-45% of child sexual abusers (Canter, Hughes and Kirby 1988; Groth and Birnbaum, 1978) indicating that sexual abuse by a trusted adult (teacher, coach, leader) is often preceded with grooming activities priming a child to be lured into a sexual relationship of some sort.
Patterns of sexual abuse behaviors are varied based upon the age and gender of the offender and the victim and their relationship. There are also differences between online and in-person tactics. The steps in grooming typically start with the groomer mentally preparing him/herself to cross known boundaries.
Self-grooming involves the offender cognitively/psychologically preparing themselves in order to justify, minimize, or deny their behaviors (Craven, Brown & Gilchrist, 2007; Katz & Field, 2020; McAlinden, 2006)
