Quote from a_person:
It does not say a single word about "criminalizing criticism of Israel" either. Please note the title of this thread and your own statement in your previous post that "freedom of speech might be in danger". This Act has been in effect for five years, obviously these concerns are absolutely baseless bordering in fact on typical anti-semitic insinuations.
I asked you a question and I am asking you again a_person, define, in a legal term, what does combating mean?
and it was this act that was mentioned by these two clowns (sameeh and wr4lock) to spew the "criticism of Israel will become illegal" lies even though the bill has a clause explicitely guaranteeing the protection of freedom of speech.
Why do you have to be a Zionist a_person? Is that how you think you can succeed in silencing people? By being rude and obnoxious?
Anyway, which clause are you talking about when the whole act is full of ways to combat criticism of Israel and Zionism?
I am glad we agree. Because the idiot who started this thread claims that the combination of these two bills will "criminalize criticism of Israel".
Here you go again! What a loser! You fail to make your point; you try to lie by claiming that a thread was debunked and when all fail, you become rude and hostile.
In many examples, intimidation and hostile actions were taken against people or organizations, be it Jewish or non Jewish, that resulted in sever consequences of the criticizer.
The campaigns and the pressure imposed on the academic community, as in the case of Norman Filkenstein, a Jewish professor who lost his tenor due to his criticism of Israel and Zionism is one of many examples that come to mind.
To add icing to the cake, an Act that was dictated to the US government by hardcore Zionist organizations like ADL and Bnai Brith, will be used as a backbone in any future attack against freedom of speech especially when this act has a legal weight to "COMBAT" entities that criticize Israel and Zionism.
