I remember some controversy about that that came out later. Something about the door having been added for some other purpose, was it rental of part of the house maybe? Anyway when I looked this stuff up it was completely unclear, to me anyway, whether she was talking about her husband wanting an extra door removed and her wanting to keep it. There was also something about being afraid of flying, and yet flying places. Although that's inconsistent, it is nevertheless a rather common inconsistency. I mean there are some places you just can't get to unless you drive, take a bus or fly. Given those choices someone afraid of flying may fly anyway and be irrationally fearful the whole time. It looks more to me as though there was a lot of grasping at straws in a not very convincing, to me, attempt to discredit her testimony.
There was a lot more investigating that could have been down if both parties would have agreed to it. But there can be absolutely no question that Kavanaugh lied when he said he did not know who Bart was. And he was under Oath! Why did he lie?
Everything Ford stated is not only inconsistent but falsehoods. Clearly she has a political agenda to take down conservatives which can be seen from her earlier activity.
