It's true...the guy has been on here for probably 15 years...Very clear writing style and extremely long posts, but they have content...It's remarkable that he is still here while 90% of the guys from way back when are long, long gone.

This forum is rather...relatively...fine the way it is.
...having a private part for profitable/verified traders...sounds like a boring,small,snotty club. --
i wouldn't necessarily want to hang out there. and besides, everything is kind of easy to game or fake. so-called safeguards, are not really ultimately safeguards.
at the end of the day...it's...just...a forum. -- which serves its purpose just fine. -- this is not the CIA, or IRS
or some official college alumni club.
(if you're so obsessed with this place...then you need to gain more/other hobbies. it's healthy)

Wrbtrader lost a debate by declining to offer personal details of trading results and made numerous logical fallacies and factual errors and put me on some lame ignore feature where I can't even read any of wrbtrader's posts to refute them for the sake of others.
Everyone on my ignore list are members that have intentionally lied after I discover something false in their statement and then when I question them about such...they replied back to my question with another lie.
That's only when I put someone on my ignore list and for no other reason. Any conversation they have towards me afterwards I am unaware unless someone tells me (usually in private message) that someone on my ignore list has said something. All those on my ignore list, they are aware of such because their last question to me...they do receive my reply and its a notification from me to them that I will now put them on my ignore list and that they get the last word in even though I will not be aware of what those last words are. Thus, the member is aware that they are on my ignore list and that I will no longer reply to them.
With that said, there's a message post I posted earlier in another thread that explains why some traders to do not "share info" with anonymous people at a forum...a message I've repeated for many years at this forum. It's simple, when someone is identified as a problematic member, troll, liar or whatever...traders tend to not share any info with them. It's really that simple.

Thanks for the clarification. Lately, I've been getting confused by message from others. I'm not sure if they're talking to me or talking to someone else.
There's a flaw in the ignore feature that I've complained about before here in the feedback section and elsewhere here at the forum.Simply, if someone (trader A) is replying to someone (trader B) on my ignore list ...that reply looks like its towards me or someone else because the quote by the ignored person has been "removed" and I can only see trader A message.
I think the above is an error or flaw that Baron needs to fix.

I think you are going to have a hard time finding quality traders typing all day on a public chat. Trading requires a centered and open minded focus. Egotistical showboating is not conducive to one's P&L. I would expect the chat to be more of a "water cooler" break from the focus and rigors of trading. If you are looking for success, your best source is in the mirror....along with a lot of work.....technical and personal.
