If you really want to stand out, consciously rid yourself of the idea that you're going to get her in bed. Let all your interactions during the date be informed by the assumption that you are NOT going to end up having sex. That's not to say that you can't subtly let her know that you think she's attractive. Just do it... subtly.

lol... nope, missed that one. I know it probably doesn't sound macho enough for some of the guys here, but it has resulted in more pussy than you would believe. It's just that it's a bit of a medium-term setup, not a quick scalp. Of course, being in a rock band didn't hurt, back in the day...in fact, that combination was just deadly.

I had a Ninja 750 in college.

On my best first date, I picked her up and drove her to the North Shore for lunch. The ride was an hour of bliss speeding along the coastline with her hugging me tight.

After lunch we rode to Dillingham Airfield where I took her for a glider ride (a sailing glider, not a hang glider). Romantic as hell - squished side by side in a narrow seat while soaring along the Waianae mountains, over the ocean, whilst doing acrobatic maneuvers.

Then a leisurely ride to Kaneohe, where we had dinner.

However, reason it was the best first date wasn't because of the physical contact, but because we really clicked on an emotional level. We talked and talked and talked at lunch and dinner and before and after riding. I called her that night and we talked for hours.

Had so much fun the second date occurred the very next day, and the third date the day after that, fourth date the following day, etc., etc.

It was getting ridiculous so we ended up getting married. :)

This is actually very good advice imo.
It may take a date or so longer to hit "pay dirt" but he's right. Most of your "nicer" women do respond to this very well. Problem is few men have the mentality to pull it off.

When she asks: "why haven't you tried to kiss me yet?"

-Don't make the first date creative. You're raising the bar...

-Even if you know each other well as friend... First date is still a first date. (Dress CLEAN and SMILE... Everything depends on the first impression... With a good 1st impression, you can fake it all the way by acting like you're listening...)

-2nd... till the 6-7th date has to out-do the last...

-First date is usually a being alone with the two of you and getting to know the person day. Seeing if things "click".... Kissing is very hard to determine, so give a hug and kiss on the cheek if you are unsure...

-Be creative after like the 2nd sex you had... Just to show that it's not only sex you're after. (Creative date... not creative sex, in perverted sense...)

-Asking friend is solely for giving your girl some attention from her friends. She'll know how the date will go before it happens (you'll get narked) so add a little twist at the end of the date. (I don't mean bringing a dildo into bed for the first time)

-Unless it's a 1 night stand... let her snuggle with you for the first few nights together. Post-sex snuggling is equally important as the actual sex, for the first few nights... (Yes... you have to fake it, and let her feel it was special...)

-Don't get drunk before the girl. If she seems wasted, most likely she's faking it... That's still a 50/50 chance you'll get laid... Keep your perversions till you get her home... Take the best care you can even if you know she's not drunk...

-Everything a girl makes you do is a TEST!!!
 
TLtrader- well, I'm assuming your talking about the mechanics of a date, I agree with you. If you know the girl likes you, consider holding off on even kissing her (first date only) - just to keep her guessing.

However, if you don't know where you stand, you should definitely kiss a girl on the first date. If she likes you, she'll let you kiss her, if not, then forget about her.

I thought traderNIK was talking about beyond kissing. Which in my book is a definite no no if your trying to establish a relationship.

I typically do coffee on my first date; however, I feel I'm kinda past that phase. She came over to my house Saturday night and we talked for almost 12 hours into early Sunday. I know some people would call me a wimp for giving her that much time, but I enjoyed it...
