Somebody wants to get a group together and all he gets is flak. Not interested in small minded pissing competitions or dick measuring. No reflection on your good self or another select few. Thought I might find a trading buddy but doesn't seem to be any interest there either, so no point in being here. Good wishes to all.
Seeing as you just signed up, you have no credibility. You are obviously already a member here under another name, and this is either a bad thing or a good thing. I bet that if you called out some trades in real time and showed consistently good trading for only a week, you'd have lots of people interested.
Also, one of the big things when it comes to trading groups is that everyone should be on the same page. There should be consensus about what is being traded and what time frames. No point in guys trading the ES chatting with guys trading stocks and scanning through all of them looking for a specific setup.
If you wanted to set up a legit group, I think effort needs to go into first talking about yourself and your trading, and next about what the group will talk about and trade.
I think you are getting me mixed up with someone else. I don't need credibility, I have no other name and if you were interested I am sure you could have that verified by a mod (I hereby give my permission to verify) Just a bloke who learned the same stuff as all of you and then threw it all out and figured stuff out for myself. Certainly not 'elite', I'm not a newbie, not looking for permission, not looking for validation and certainly don't want to set up a group. Would be just nice to bounce things around with another likeminded trader. No worries..... apologies for hijacking the thread.
What will a mod verify? That you have no other account here? These days its so easy to change your IP and so it makes it impossible to verify anything. Surf has been getting by with dozens of aliases and going strong.
Its highly unlikely that you just came to ET and found a thread about creating a group of real professional traders.
But lets play devils advocate and assume you're legit. What do you trade? What is your holding time? What are you stats for your trades? I'm always intrigued by stats.

Just for the sake of others reading my post, although can't see why you would be interested (probably my last after that little outburst) I was searching something on the internet. One of the references was to this site by a guy named shopster. In following it I came to ET. I received an email yesterday (from ET) which listed what were considered to be the most interesting new threads of the last week and I ended up with an arsehole like you. Now I know why I don't visit forums as a rule.
