But you yourself have just accepted a more nuanced understanding, that of the difference between ordinary Muslims and radical Muslims. That's all the media is doing, it's digging deeper into motive. I would think righties, who so love the character centered approach to understanding behavior (as opposed to, e.g., a structural approach), would welcome efforts to identify all personality attributes which may contribute to an act.
