lets look at it another way. does intellectual honesty have any value to you? shouldnt the goal of humans be to find truth in reality? why would you stop thinking past what sheepherders 2000 years ago believed?

You're correct as long as we all agree to your definition of Truth and Reality.
Reality by definition changes every second. Truth is how one perceives the world they live in.
None of these terms is static.

no its not. so rather than trying to learn truth based on reality you have decided to just believe what people thought was truth and reality in primitive times? why? is it out of fear that some invisible guy in the sky will get you or just intellectual lazyness?
