Craziest Stories On The Trading Floor

please, show us that picture with the poster dedicated to your hilarious moment of madness on the floor....

thx :D

Quote from William Rennick:

Back in the 80's I had repeated problems getting screwed on my market orders, always paying 3-4 cents above the current bid/ask. I was on a tour of the floor a month later and happened to pass by the post where my orders were getting raped. I heckled that the SOB taking Market orders on Xerox was a crooked bastard and needed to be shackled. The prick came out and got it my face. I had the fat bastard in a headlock when security broke it up and quickly escorted me out. The wife was embarassed, but the grand kids thought I was John Wayne.

Rennick out:cool:

EPrado

That story is mostly true. There was no plunger involved. He did jump off the bridge. The Merc. got wind of it and everyone who was supposed to pay up did not.He was chased by the Metra police after exiting the river. The Merc. gave him a suspension.

I worked with him for some time on the floor as an arb clerk in the back month Eurodollars.Anyway, that is the story.

Cool. Thanks for clearing that up. My buddy was a local in The SP pit and told me about it yrs ago. Sucks that guys didnt pay up...thats just wrong.
