The only trading forum I have visited recently has been Quantopian. Its probably among the best there is recently for algorithmic trading. But even that forum has its quotient if useless no hopers deceivi g themselves that they are on a royal road to trading riches.

No hopers are an integral part of the trading and gambling scene. Canon fodder for the bookies and brokers and system sellers. It is illegal to sell opium. It is not illegal to peddle moonshine and impossible dreams but as with a drug user the only real hope is that the user eventually realises they are bei g taken for a ride.

The financial media will probably get the long awaited bump in ratings now that they finally corralled every last retail investor into high risk momo stocks. The first 7 years off the bottom didn't do the trick, it was the last 2 that finally sealed it. Now, they've got a guaranteed audience for all the charlatans screaming about this and that.
