You lose credibility by posting anything that Cramer has to say. That is one reason why people here pick on me...Simply because I have him as an avatar pic.
So expect to get hosed for your post. In the eyes of the ET trading world, Cramer is anathema to real analysis.

Meh, I'm not so sure that video is actually that good. He is like "whoa, market up here but vix not down here".... well, that happens all the time. They are not perfect inverse instruments. Far from it. When the market is up for part of a single day it does not surprise me at all that that might not have convinced many SP500 option traders or whatever to adjust their risk premium. Not surprising at all really. What would be interesting would do some statistical comparisons on the VIX instruments versus the SP500 and see if someone could come up with a viable strategy over the long haul....
