The only problem that I still have when buying a new PC is the fact that I cannot find anywhere a list with graphic cards that also shows the maximum resolution they can handle.

For instance: if I have 2 screens that I want to connect to that graphic card, I need to know which cards can handle the resolutions from these screens. 34 inch screens I use have 3440x1440 resolution in format 21:9. So how can I find out which graphic cards I can/should use?

NVIDIA website has that info but yeah I totally get it’s like “hey look at the cool card you gets that’s all we know it’s cool!”

Get the CPU with built in graphics. No need for a separate graphics card for two screens for 2d trading applications.

ty. i already have a 1050ti(came with my original build) and that is more than enough. I am currently running one 4k 43" screen and it is bliss. less is more in this biz.

Look at the manufacturer website in the "boring" specs section. Modern cards are all 4k or up, so anything less should work without issues.

Found it at Nvidia, but I have now AMD Radeon and they show nowhere this resolutions. At least not where I was looking.
If you watch any online vendor site, you can find a lot if specifications about any cards, but nowhere a filter to select on the maximum resolution. I don't understand why they don't add that information. The only exception is Newegg, but I live in EU.

This is what you get if you watch Amazon for aan AMD Radeon RX 6600.
You can even choose "Frustration-Free Packaging" or not. But resolutions seem not to matter.

It took me less than a minute to search for “AMD RX6600 specifications” to discover that this card supports 4K. Which isn’t surprising as nowadays virtually all cards support that.

I was looking at something like "resolution 3440x1440". Not at 4K. Now I understand what 4K means, so now I don't need "3440x1440" anymore. I learned something on ET, which is rare.

Nvidia mentions clearly the supported resolutions.
