Hi, all
Would any hardware enthusiast trader care to opine on the following scenario?
An Intel Braswell-based CPU N3150 is used in a tiny computer powering three monitors, displaying up to ten 5-minute charts. No indicators are used, with only volumes and OCHL shown, on a platform with IB TWS and NinjaTrader.
Since 5-minute charts require minimal processing, and given the nature of IB's non-tick data, is it likely that the N3150 CPU will perform reasonably well, assuming that other components are high grade (eg, 8 GB RAM and quality SSD)? The computer will only be used for trading. No web browsing, etc.
Thanks!
