In less than 2 months the stock price has doubled. Impressive!
Pharmaceutical stock...ugggh, they can move like penny stocks.
You can do all the analysis you want, but you will still step on a land mine, inevitably, and hurt your account.
You can't count on being a market millionaire by gambling, betting, investing, on Pharma stocks.
Way too many unknown, uncontrollable, variables and elements.
You have to structure the trade, the game, to the best of your knowledge and advantage and understanding.

Still, looks interesting to me, if not extended
i traded cprx back in 2019 and made money on it. recently added it back to my watch list because my scanner pick it up again.
They are currently scoring on every number you'd like them to score on. Rising analyst estimates, rising earnings, beating earnings estimates, increasing revenues, stock price moving up, etc. Stocks with these characteristics have outperformed in years past. I currently have no position.
Yeah that was the other thing I looked at the fundamentals and growth is pretty hot. Based on the volume in the last couple of days the institutions seem to be real interested

Those experienced traders are looking at price and volume very closely.
They are still holding to their long position.
When there is price exhaustion, they will take some profit.
There are also many newbies who waited
and waited and waited
and waited and waited
for cprx to go higher / to break new high (see the high volume).
Then finally they decided to buy cprx at a very poor price.

I recognize that it may be extended which is why I bought small. I’m going to try to be patient with this one. May add, on a pullback. Longer time frame than usual, which I’ve been thinking fits my personality better, anyway, I may end up drifting towards more position trades going forward.
