Yes... in a society like Canada which is highly vaccinated you will have more cases among the vaccinated. Especially with Omicron which is vaccine evasive and can infect those who are vaccinated. Maybe you need to learn more about base rate fallacy -- and start taking a look at the percentage of vaccinated & unvaccinated rather than raw numbers.
Now get back to us with a chart showing the number of deaths from Covid among the vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Hint: Covid vaccines are still very effective at stopping serious illness and death.

A Stanford University professor of medicine says "academic freedom is dead" after his life became a "living hell" for challenging coronavirus lockdown orders and the "scientific clerisy" during the pandemic.
"The basic premise is that if you don't have protection and academic freedom in the hard cases, when a faculty member has an idea that's unpopular among some of the other faculty - powerful faculty, or even the administration … If they don't protect it in that case, then you don't have academic freedom at all," Dr. Jay Bhattacharya told Fox News Digital in a phone interview.
Bhattacharya is a tenured professor of medicine at Stanford University and also an economist who serves as director of Stanford’s Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging.
He came under fire during the pandemic after co-authoring the Great Barrington Declaration, which was an open letter signed by thousands of doctors and scientists in 2020 denouncing lockdowns as harmful. Bhattacharya was joined by Harvard professor of medicine Dr. Martin Kulldorff and Oxford professor Dr. Sunetra Gupta in co-authoring the document.
The declaration was quickly denounced by other health leaders including National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci, who slammed the call for herd immunity in the document as "nonsense and very dangerous."

Amazing... that you don't provide proper context. Palau had strict travel restrictions, social distancing, masks and many other requirements to address Covid. As soon as they allowed all incoming travel in late 2021 and loosened some restrictions they experienced a surge in Covid Omicron cases -- since Omicron is vaccine evasive in regards to infection this surge is not surprising. Of course the majority of deaths in Palau were among the few unvaccinated. How shocking.
Please note that due to Palau's vaccination policy the level of deaths and serious illness is far below western countries in 2022. Palau still has a strict vaccination policy for incoming travelers -- and vaccination requirements for all residents. Palau's strict isolation and imposition of Covid restrictions and then vaccination allowed them to be one of the better performing countries during the 2020/2021 time period.
I learned recently when I was in France with my youngest son looking at a few universities...
A lot of countries vaccinated their migrant workers and then when those migrant workers return back to their country...the country does not count them in the vaccination statistics. This process keeps the vaccination rate lower.
Canada and the United States do the same too. For example, an unvaccinated worker leaves Indonesia to go to France but the employer in France requires vaccination. Later, when the migrant worker from Indonesia...the country Indonesia vaccination statistics remains unchanged.
This is especially true for undocumented workers (illegals) too.
Norway has a lot of migrant workers and undocumented workers when at the same time Norway did an excellent job in vaccinating its most vulnerable population to minimize Covid excess mortality.
Simply, its a country that is very good in using other methods of managing Covid that vaccination now seems less important to them plus the organization that use to manage (maintain) their Covid/Vaccination statistis was costing the government too much money...the government dropped them and they were not replaced.

First let's keep in mind that Parker Crutchfield is merely an ethics professor who wrote a paper on the dilemma of using drugs (i.e. "morality pill") to address society's behavior. The intent would be to use "oxytocin and psilocybin (the active ingredient in “magic mushrooms”) to lower aggression and increase empathy towards others, and thus potentially “boost” our “cooperative, pro-social behavior.” Crutchfield — an Associate Professor of Medical Ethics, Humanities and Law at Western Michigan University — acknowledges that the idea is “far out” and controversial. He was merely writing a paper on the ethics of this type of idea.
Most amusing is that some right-wing organizations such as Real Clear Policy in 2020 promoted Crutchfield's proposal as a way of calming down all of those evil minorities before they have more BLM riots -- not to mention as a way of ending Covid.

Of course by 2021, the right also claimed that this was a nefarious federal plot to drug the population to become obedient drones. The difficulty with this -- is that the government has no support for Crutchfield's proposal. Of course, from a Fact Checking perspective this nonsense pushed by anti-vax Covid-deniers was marked "Pants on Fire".
