1. HCQ acts as an ionophore for Zinc. Without Zinc it doesn't do shit...
It *may* help even without Zn. Let's take the case of cross T-cell reaactivity. It can cause the cytokene storm which leads to pulmonary damage. If hydroxychloroquine is given early it ameliorates this T cell activity and the storm is prevented. Of course, the other parts of protocol are very important and instrumental.
A "study" can be designed to support any pro or contra bias, depends who is paying and how much money is involved. As my radiologist friends say: "Depends on who is reading it..."
