Yep...especially in light of the fact about the complaints about the negative impact on children that weren't in school during the "lockdowns".

Now it could be the Parents vaccine hesitancy against other diseases. It's the negligence of the Parents and this time they can not blame the government.

Its the fault of the Parents that results in homeschooling because the children no longer qualified for school when schools are now OPEN.

It's a cruel world.

Rates of diphtheria, polio, hepatitis B, measles, meningitis, mumps, tetanus, tuberculosis, and yellow fever all increased—primarily due to vaccine hesitancy because of increasing anti-vaccine online rhetoric.

Sadly, those are required vaccines for North American children to attend school in North America. Therefore, I'm going to assume that more children will be homeschooled by their Parents this fall considering the children will no longer be qualified to attend school...

A bunch dimwit idiots that have forgotten / know nothing about the United States' historical battle against the Poliovirus...Polio or sometimes known as Poliomyelitis.

We even had a U.S. President...Franklin Roosevelt was left with paralysis because of Polio...moving around in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life and while he was President of the United States...permanently paralyzed.

Many historians stated that if it wasn't for Roosevelt and his push to find a cure / vaccine...we would have had +3 million children...permanently paralyzed from the Polio virus. That vaccine wasn't developed until the 1950's...long after his presidency.

Today, the Polio vaccine is a required vaccination for children to have to be able to attend school in almost every state of the United States. Many ant-vaccine dimwits have historically been laughed out of court when they tried to get vaccinations removed from schools.

I do from the 1970s and it was something (Polio vaccination) the U.S. military took very seriously. I've posted pictures here at the forum of me and my father when I was a kid at Fort Campbell Kentucky that was taken by my mother (a photographer) of the military base families lined up at elementary school to get our required vaccinations (polio vaccine was one of them).

The military had one of the lowest infection rates of Polio because of the Polio vaccine, and vaccine requirements. I do remember the anti-vaccine idiots back then protesting and trying to pass out anti-vaccine literature on the base...a few of them got their asses beaten.

Another fact, it was the southern states that pushed hard for Polio vaccines to be a requirement to attend schools because they had too many children being paralyzed by Polio. The U.S. was slow to react until it spread upwards into the mid-west and then north-east at lighting speed.

Some states had roadblocks on streets (Indiana, Kentucky, South Dakota) by police to check Parents vaccination cards of their children during my old man's youth.

Polio or poliomyelitis is caused by the poliovirus — an infectious disease that for the majority of those infected causes no symptoms. But roughly 30% of cases produce symptoms resulting from nervous system infection, including muscle weakness, breathing problems, paralysis and, sometimes, death.

Most of the children's disabilities that occurred from the disease were because of Polio and its tough to imagine there are anti-vaccine fuckheads wanting to go back to those days of Polio paralyzing children...
