COVID vaccination choice - a poll

Assuming a COVID vaccine is available by the end of the year, will you take it?

  • Total voters
    17
  • Poll closed .
They tried to force vaccination with the Danes and the Danes weren't having it. Can you imagine what will happen when they try this with Americans?

People continue to wise up to the bullshit narrative.

compliance in the US is simple really. You don't need to force them into forced vaccinations. Americans have been brainwashed w/the virtues of capitalism, free market, and private healthcare. All government needs to do is give insurers free reign on denying coverage for treatment to those who aren't inoculated. If anti-vaxxers aren't compliant, it's their own fault for not having personal responsibility and to quote a GOP convention, the government should "let them die".

Just curious, but who in this GOP convention said "the government should let them die"?

I'm only asking because when you claim that the GOP Convention attendee said it, you're giving weight as if that is the official GOP stance. If I were to do likewise and quote DNC convention attendees and point out really, really far left comments that undoubtedly circulate in various groups there and then suggest that was the stance of the DNC, I would be equally absurd.

doesn't matter, the cheers that followed was tacit approval by the majority there.

everyone regardless of age is at risk if they come in contact with an infected person. Infected persons are not distributed uniformly. Therefore risk in non-uniform. We don't know in any particular situation what the risk is, we can only estimate what the risk is on average. The risk will go down significantly for everyone if roughly 60 some percent of the population or more get vaccinated. Below that number the benefit to the unvaccinated, on average, of others being vaccinated, drops. if only a small percentage of the population get vaccinated, those many that don't gain, on average, practically no reduction in risk. The advantage to going past the magic number, somewhere between 60-70 % vaccinated worldwide, is that there is then an excellent chance of the covid-19 virus virtually disappearing. How ever if too few get vaccinated, then we will remain subject to future flare ups. Everyone who can get vaccinated should. It's the the smart thing to do; it's the right thing to do.
hmmm ---in California only 2 people under the age of 18 have died from Kung Flu. Indeed, the risk is non-uniform Karen.

The government won't be able to force people to get vaccinated, but they can appeal to citizens sense of responsibility, just as I have done. Look for Madison Avenue and corporate America to get involved. You'll see lots of public service adds in coming months. And it will be effective. Americans will buy anything as long as it doesn't cost more than $19.99 plus shipping and handling.

The risk of catching a virus and the risk of dying from it are two entirely different things. We have done nothing to protect those at risk of dying, nothing.
Nursing home patients still account for nearly half the deaths. Why? Because they have not been secured. How does shutting down a restaurant protect those in a nursing home? It doesn't. The morbidly obese still account for a disproportionate number of deaths. Why? If we identify and tell them to quarantine some lunatic leftist would call it fat shaming.
This has never been about protecting those at risk of dying because the more that die the better the agenda will work.

Piezoe will never get it.

The whole point of the "lockdown" was to build out healthcare capacity so we never have to shutdown again.

Instead, white countries spent ~20 Trillion on corporate/banker bailouts and paid everyone to sit at home.

White Countries are trying to make forced vaccination the law. This is part of the plan. They're trying to make it happen all over Europe, to various degrees.

Although, apparently according to pollsters, trump has a lot of support among older voters, and although we've lost a quarter of a million to covid, they'd all have to have been Trump's voters concentrated in the "swing states" to have had much affect on the election outcome. Although it is a delicious thought that Trump's incompetence helped kill off his own base. But that alone, can not explain his retched election results. But when you combine that with insulting a crowd of 100% Trump voters in Erie by telling them he'd rather not be there, telling people of color to go back to their country, calling mexicans murderers and rapists, trying to ban muslims from traveling to the U.S., antagonizing the LBGT community, calling Baltimore a shit hole, suggesting that blacks were going to move into suburbs and then their wouldn't be any suburbs, firing untold numbers of competent public servants for doing their jobs --Vindman, several inspectors general, and countless others, and replacing them with loyal incompetent campaign contributors, getting himself impeached by trying to extort the President of Ukraine to investigate his political rival's son, getting himself impeached, caging for months children in dog kennel like facilities, separating mothers from breast feeding infants then losing track of mother and child. Insulting gold star families and war heroes and soldiers, gassing peaceful demonstrators so he could have a photo opp holding a bible upside down, abandoning our allies on the battle field, bragging endlessly about the stock market while millions could barely make ends meet, claiming Mexico would pay for a Wall which he never built, cozying up to vile dictators, throwing U.S. international markets into chaos causing U.S. farmers to lose billions to foreign competition, maybe permanently in some cases. And then trying to buy the farmers he'd ruined with cash payments. Abandoning DACHA, and both deporting and threatening adults who had lived all there lives from the time they were children in the United States even though they knew no other country, even those serving in U.S. armed forces. Announcing he wanted to buy Greenland before checking with the Danes, countless other insane and lunatic acts, and non-stop lying easily explain the election results. What will never be explainable is why anyone, other than those who are retarded, and despite their misgivings concerning his political opposition, voted for him.

P.S. I only touched on a tiny fraction of the idiotic, ham handed, stupid, unjustified, ridiculous, mean, spiteful and harmful things Donald Trump did while in office as President. And I didn't even start on his many illegal acts, which he only avoided being removed from office for by replacing everyone who might oppose him with loyalists, sycophants, and morons.
