Many countries that came out of "Full Lockdown" and stated they will not do a second "Full Lockdown" again.
Instead, they are doing "targeted lockdowns" of Covid-19 hotspots. For example, pretend a country has three cities...one of those cities gets a lot of citations for health code violations in the Pandemic / Increasing Infections / Increasing Deaths while the others seem to be normal (socially responsible people following the rules)...
The government / health officials will target and lockdown that problematic city only until the numbers begin trending down.
Canada is one of those countries. As for the United States, I was looking at a recent Covid-19 map of the United States...if you're so worried...you could move or take a long vacation to Nevada (circle in green) or Maine (circle in blue).
Seriously, people normally move to another city or state for better employment, better weather, better opportunities, better education or even move to another country so that their children will have a better education/life...why not do the same for better Covid-19 responses or to live in a community with socially responsible citizens during a Pandemic ???

The fact is that the the resources were not available for "targeted lockdowns" nor were there enough PPE for such along with the fact that not only was there no vaccine / no approved therapeutic drug...
- The United States needed to do a full lockdown to get prepared and then it screw that up via making Covid-19 a political thing that was more important than Covid-19 as a health crisis.
Today there is such and they're better prepared because they know more about Covid-19, more PPE is available for front line workers and many companies working on a vaccine. Also, there's now emergency therapeutic drugs for Covid-19 severe illness cases.
- The above was not available in the beginning for the United States in this Pandemic.

- I don't know anything about your beaches in San Diego. For example, are people over crowing the beaches, not social distancing or being reckless ?
Yet, if your livelihood is on the San Diego beach such as a cafe, restaurant or any other business that's dependent upon tourist / people to go to the beach where your business / job is located at...
Makes sense to be mad at your Governor that's threatening to shut it down when people are not being socially responsible. Yet, don't lose site for the reason of the shut down by your Governor because people are fucking up in San Diego instead of being responsible.
- Then again, you do not wear a face mask. Thus, the Governors threat may be appropriate if there's many people like you using the San Diego beaches and not socially distancing.
- Governor Newsom said those packed beaches were "disturbing" and makes it more difficult for him to consider relaxing the state's mandatory stay-at-home order.
By the way, South Korea has low numbers (better than Sweden) because they have better leadership at the top, a culture already use to wearing face masks because of pollution problems and a healthcare system suitable to managing diseases like Covid-19 so that they were able to keep their country open...avoiding a lockdown.

People still need to go to the grocery store and get food, go to a hair salon to get their hair done, go out to walk or exercise. Since, Corona Virus is airborne, you can in fact get it from multiple places even though, you might not be aware of it. That said, wide open spaces like parks or the beach are the safest places when you are out. Doctors have explained the virus droplets get dispersed by the wind so, even if you were to get hit when out and about say jogging or walking along the beach, your chances of getting a good dose of droplets to make you sick is minimal. I do not agree with the mass shutdowns of everything. Now, the airlines figured it out ahead of the politicians weaponizing Corona Virus for their political benefit and nothing else. What a novel idea of testing a passenger before they board an airplane? They should have been cleaning the air in grocery stores, casinos, hospitals by retrofitting buildings to pass air thru ultraviolet rays before dispersing it back into areas whether shoppers and staff are working. It probably, will cost less and allow most of us to get back to going about our lives. We can also, wear masks on top of that. November 4, 2020, all the BS ends because Corona Virus as a political weapon would be useless.
