Heh, speaking of hockey, my friends and I were watching Cash Cab (A trivia show) and the question came up..."Name five of the seven NHL teams based in Canada".

We could come up with only the Maple Leafs, Flames and Oilers. Had no idea there were 7 of them! (Well, we're really not hockey fans.) But still. Hockey!

I love sports here in Québec, Canada especially winter sports. Yet, the one sport I can not understand why its so popular is "Curling".

Curling is awesome, if you sit down and watch the the precision it takes to be good at the sport as a team. The sweeping, the twist of the stone, the speed of the stone, the angle on hitting the opponents' stones. There's so much physics and feel involved.

You've obviously never played it. It's a great sport actually. You know the rocks are 40-44 lbs. each and the sweepers on the top teams are as fit an athlete as you'll find in many cases.
