Manchin said he supported it because the Republican Governor in his extremely red state said he supported it.There are certainly many other Republican Governors who at least privately want this bill to pass but no Republican Senators are supporting it :mad:

Exactly. There are many republican officials in both state and federal offices that support most of this bill because it’s absolutely needed.
 
Joe Manchin seems to forget that when Trump congressional republicans passed a $2.4 trillion unfunded tax package the bill was done with zero democrat input and passed with hand written notes.
