A vaccine will allow your immune system to see the virus again, and perhaps encourage it to attack it more aggressively if it sees the real deal again. Also,
There may be slight differences between the current virus, and the vaccine. So the vaccine could be helpful in this case as well; since you really wouldn't have seen that exact signature before.

Sounds like you don't need the medical minds to respond.I think (until medical minds respond, which I’m sure they will want everyone vaccinated regardless of medical necessity) there’s nothing in the vaccine that mother nature hasn’t already addressed. All I need to do to keep my immune system working would be handled by going on about my business as normal, where I’m sure it will be exposed regularly.
Edit, my family is coming over for Thanksgiving, 4 out of the 5 have all been exposed, gotten sick and recovered. As far as my immediate family is concerned, we’ve reached herd immunity.
