You need to factor in Stockholm County and Palm beach there populations for starters and how many older / sick people there might be aswell.

Now think about the millions that have lost there jobs, the mental damage and lack of schooling for kids ( I'd sacrifice 100% over everyone over 80 to not do that ) and a global depression, from the lockdowns not the virus, the over reaction.

First, I like the way you refer to it as the "kill rate" instead of "death rate". Kill Rate is the wording that should have been used...drives the point further.

Also, I don't think it really matters to people if there's 1k killed versus 2k killed but the fear is that people don't want to be one of those killed.

In contrast, there's a great fear when there's +190k killed because people do not want to be one of those that are killed.

Simply, less fear with low numbers...more fear with higher numbers.

In addition, the wording / language makes a big difference as in Death Rate versus Killed Rate.

Turns out turning Norway to Sweden, Norway for 2 years has had very bad Flu deaths leaving less vulnerable people for Covid to kill, where as Sweden got off lightly, which just brings the average deaths for both countries back to well average.

And the UK extra Deaths are only because of the lockdowns not the virus.

Also Masks, 10days after every country puts masks in, there a huge spike, why they didn't put them in at first, but to create fake 2nd wave in the UK, they actually make it spread faster LOL

It was announced to get worse when schools and offices reopen in Spain especially Madrid, and so it is. Will see how nearby countries react when the second wave hit them and decide whether it makes sense moving over Xmas.
Fwiw, not sure how it is in the UK but the hospitalizations and deaths have gone up over the summer. In Madrid the medical staff are already crying that "They are on the edge of breaking ", we understand them, being a star on Tik Tok is a big thing, hope they´ll get less clapping from people´s balconies this time around. Some of them deserve to be buried alive imo.

Lots of people in quarantine over Spain, 2 out of 16 in my whatsapp BJJ morning group, of which not even all of them are active.
One of them is in a crazy situation, has 4 school aged kids, one of them was in a cafeteria lunch group where someone tested positive, he got quarantined with his whole family end of last week, got PCR which came back negative, yet the school (public school likely, the guy doesn´t have a high income and is also dependent on public healthcare to do the PCRs -130 to 180 euros each in private clinics here), yet the school still want them to stay quarantined for 2 weeks, or at least get a second PCR from what I understood. That man is wasting tons of time to sort out of the issue, can´t work, and has his 4 kids out of school. Quite likely once the kids are allowed back to school, a similar issue arises near one of them and it is the same mess again. Absolute shame.
On the other hand while my kids´school has had crazy requirements so far, one dude from grade 12 tested positive and school says as they enforce face masks and social distancing there, they don´t consider that boy to have had any close contact in school and won´t quarantine anyone else there related to him. Anyone seeing him in private is required to quarantine but it is not clear whether the school will get involved.
Navarra, a spanish province, announced that 3% of the kids in kindergarten and primary school are under quarantine, probably with the huge majority of them quite healthy. That´s about 1 week after school reopened.
Prolly the worst year in Europe since WW2, but for a rather futile reason imo.
