They was doing a stupid on reducing Covid Spread via mouthwash 30,000 taking part FFS!
UK Rule of 6 tomorrow, can't meet in groups bigger than 6, stops conspiracy people from fighting against the lies and BS I guess, totally stupid.
Birmingham near me, population 3Million, no visiting mates / family, no idea if gyms / schools shutting or pubs ?? A lot of offices closing again I've heard haven't got to but they are.
There recruiting Covid Marshalls, to basically up hold the Covid rules, 1 step closer to police state, basically grass on people for breaking the rules that don't make any sense.
Loads of if we don't follow the rules, hard lockdown so basically someone will break the rules just 1 person and it'll be like the beaches ( which where 100% safe ) and LOCKDOWN again soon.
Testing increased massively, too sensitive so picking up on people that just had it to, sitting at 0.04% of population, hospitalisations dropping, deaths dropping but we'll ignore that and more LOCKDOWNS!!
There is no explanation for this level of BULLSHIT and Fearmongering, it's just prep wold for the new facist world order, police state, remove money, burn books 1984 time.
Talk of the vaccine also injects an RFID chip, then that'll become your ID, to buy things and log onto computers and prove you've had it, without your poor and screwed, bet 5G towers put out enough power to activate and read these chips, why the huge interest in 5G, no we don't need faster video on our phones.
Any scientist / doctor who disagrees gets classed as a nut and sacked, what happened to free country and free speach FFS!

If you reduce the covid issues to announced covid deaths, no wonder you have no clue about athletes, and probably about the whole lot of people getting insanely hit by anti covid measures, many of whom are more likely to die from a flu than from Covid (that was the case for kids a few months ago, would need to check updated covid death stats for kids)

If you reduce the covid issues to announced covid deaths, no wonder you have no clue about athletes, and probably about the whole lot of people getting insanely hit by anti covid measures, many of whom are more likely to die from a flu than from Covid (that was the case for kids a few months ago, would need to check updated covid death stats for kids)

Uh... Israel had a strict lockdown, very damaging to the economy and health (both mental and physical) of its citizens, lowered the cases number, was proud, opened up society, and pfff... cases rised back up, now with a similar mindset they find no better option than locking down again. Sounds familiar from Spain, sounds like a disaster.

As for what I do care about - Science - it clearly shows Covid is more deadly than the plain old seasonal flu, which yes is deadly, just not on the same magnitude (921,000 in about 6 months soooo far) or easily double, if not triple or quadruple, deaths per year typically caused by the flu.
You´re not the sharpest of the used crayons, are you ? Ever heard about training facilities closed and competitions cancelled worldwide because of a pandemic ?
Ever wondered what the effect on competitiveness and finance it has on professional athletes ?? Some places have reopened much faster than others, some are still largely closed ( 2 fighters I´m closed with in Madrid just had an event cancelled for which they had prepared hard, one just before taking his flight to the fighting venue last Thursday - they announced the return of some competitions in Spain, than cancelled them, even though they were planned without public)
U care about Science but you just post total number of deaths without even relating those to the reference population size?
Besides you might start browsing social media, you´ll notice that most pro athletes and sports organizations are posting news there,but I´ve figured out by now that sports along public health are none of your concern. Total covid deaths, this sure rocks your bathtub boat.
