Vaccines have different shot courses and length of efficacy. For instance a tetanus booster will last ten years, where a seasonal flu vaccine will last months.
We don’t know what the current group of vaccines longitudinal efficacy will be, minus free flowing antibodies being ~6 months for a 2 shot course of mRNAs. The immune system is much more than lymph nodes and antibodies though.
We have good indication that there is B cell memory and T cell ability from 2 doses of mRNA. So a pretty good indicator that protection against severe disease may be long term, if the B and T cell response musters and adequate defense in general.
