Diphtheria, measles, rubella, mumps, tetanus ,polio etc is not spreading like covid
Correct, right now, they are not spreading like Covid but they are in fact on the rise again...some after almost being wiped out (didn't exist) in many countries.
Yet, considering this important fact, almost 41 countries have already put off, or may put off, their vaccine campaigns for 2020 - 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This increases the risk of bigger outbreaks around the world, including the United States.
- In fact, there has been a surprising increase in other diseases / infections / illnesses due to the dramatic decrease in the associated vaccination for those diseases / infections / illnesses.
Unfortunately, the anti-vaccine dimwits see the increases in those diseases / infections / illnesses as a result of the Covid vaccination instead of correlating it with the
decrease in the vaccines for those diseases / infections / illnesses.
Just the same, the same anti-vaccine dimwits can not wrap their minds around the fact that people stopped going to the hospital for medical care during the lockdowns and during the Covid Pandemic surges like the Delta wave along with these dimwits not understanding the backlog in medical care.
For example, Cancer screening dropped to an all-time low in 2020 (before Covid vaccines) and now people are seeing the result of the lack of Cancer screening and lack of surgeries for the removal of Cancerous tissues...
Cancers are on the rise again after an
estimated +9 million Cancer screenings did not take place during the Pandemic.
I know a lab tech at a hospital that was doing about 100 Breast screenings per month at her hospital. During the Covid Pandemic so far...they've had at least 6 months of breast screenings
LESS than 10 per month.
- She had many days each month of not seeing a single woman for a cancer screen...something that NEVER had happen before in the +10 years of her job prior to the Covid Pandemic.
Now that hospitals and
people are seeing their Doctors again as we traverse from a Pandemic to an Endemic...there's now an increase in breast cancers because most of these women didn't do
or were not able to get screened during the Pandemic.
