Vaccines are beneficial if they turn a respiratory pandemic into a mere seasonal endemic -- for example the Flu.
Without a yearly flu vaccine we would see 1918 repeat itself regularly.

I did some research on John Hopkins and found they are a top University in several fields, including medical related fields, especially biotechnology. So far, I have not reviewed the University’s sources of funds beyond tuitions to see if there are any conflict of interests. Johns Hopkins University is currently being sued along with Bristol Meyers Squibb by the country of Guatemala for human experimentation involving syphilis in the 1940’s.
Briefly scanning over Johns Hopkins’s newsletter reveals very far Left articles that even includes gun control debates. No wonder CNN apparently loves to quote Johns Hopkins material. There was a noteworthy controversy in a Johns Hopkins’s newsletter where an article stating there were no excess deaths due to Covid was taken down. Apparently the original article is now viewable again.

Again I note given the current rise in US Covid cases, especially considering the number of earlier reported infections, the apparent massive number of Covid infections that were not reported because symptoms were too mild, as possibly in my case, and the fact that most Americans received a vaccination shot, why is the US Covid case load approaching all-time highs again if vaccines are really that effective in real world use against the delta variant? The efficacy touted for these vaccines after one or two weeks in a study clearly does not reflect results in the field. Should US Covid infection rates reach all-time highs, our medical authorities and pharmaceutical companies will have some explaining to do, and that is being generous.
