Mutations in no way shape or form prove anything whatsoever with respect to the origin of the virus.

Mutations DO NOT EQUAL lab gain-of-function origin.
It might be news to you that viruses mutate, but, it is not news to the rest of the human race.

Girlfriend (a nurse) stated they are getting less people in the hospital for the Flu...statistics dramatically down this year.
- People are getting the Flu but less likely to go to the hospital during this Pandemic.
- People social gathering a lot less because of the Pandemic.
- More people wearing face mask, social distancing and hand washing...less likely to pass their Flu germs to others.
That's a broad statement, "viruses mutate". All viruses? Everywhere? For all their existence?

Anyway, everyone knows viruses mutate, everywhere, and always have. Occam's Razor would suggest that process is the origin of 2019's novel coronavirus.
