I believe my serious responses to you show I'm not "just self interested." But since you continue to make the same illogical arguments; and continue to put words in my mouth, I simply said, I tried ... fuck it.

My "fuck it" girly post was about you, not society as a whole.

I will continue to care about my fellow man, and distance/mask-up etc. While you continue to say, "waaaa, it doesn't work!;" yet you want us to think you're a version of Gandhi or something.

But it simply doesn't work, and I've told you what does work being shielding then let ut spread among the not at risk, but because that's you and your scared you don't want to get it, your going to continue to try not getting it, ignore Shielding as it won't save you and let thousands die.

Not just you, nobody can ever talk about shielding the at risk, cause you just don't care, your caring act, is just that, only people anyone cares about is themselves, really quite sickening.

Secondly, "shielding" is not a term used in the U.S. regarding the pandemic. So here's why "nobody" talks about shielding:

We don't know exactly wtf you're talking about.
Nobody except you is talking about "shielding."

Is shielding the plexiglass barriers that were put up in retail locations.
Is shielding the act of isolating high-risk individuals.

Now you've worked out what shielding is, why USA death rate is so high 0.2% and climbing, sweden 0.06% and stable.

See I think the logical thing to do is, shield the at risk, let the virus spread and burn itself out, like Sweden then use vaccines for the at risk only, to get them out sooner, this is the best real proven way to handle this.

Do you agree or do you want to just not get it yourself cause the media has scared the crap out of everyone?

Slows the Spead 5%, or reduced the deaths at the at risk by 95%, I don't consider 5% working, but I do consider 95% working.

UK charts, Shielding stopped the first wave, then removed and up the deaths go, only look at the deaths. Still got Masks, social distancing, lockdowns, bullshit bullshit bullshit, deaths stable @500 per day area.

Many do not wear face masks, many still protest without face masks, many do not social distance just like other countries because to them its the government trying to control them.

Countries that have a very large number of their citizens that in fact do wear face masks, in fact do social distance, in fact to sanitize public surfaces and wash their hands...

Those countries have excellent Covid-19 performance even though they too are currently freaking out when their number gradually increased to a total of several thousand during this Pandemic...I'll repeat...a total of several thousand.

Oh wait, they also did not lockdown.

Simply, its not the government...its the idiotic citizens in the countries that are having problems.

I'm not in favor of lockdowns but I am in favor of restrictions, quarantine for those that are infected, face mask wearing (not around the neck, not on the chin only, not pulled down to talk to the person next to you, not pulled down to eat / drink in public places surrounded by others doing the same, not wearing an inappropriate face mask).

The goal is to slow the spread because its impossible to prevent 100% the spread because many do not wear face masks, do not social distance and do not wash / sanitize their hands before touching other surfaces or before touching their own face masks.

Slow the spread until > 60% are vaccinated in the population or at the minimum in your own community.

Christmas is around the corner and millions air travel the past few days to be with loved ones for Christmas...

A small percentage of them will not be here for next Christmas because they just couldn't stick it out a few more months until they were vaccinated.

Look closely at Sweden in comparison to other scandinavian countries like Denmark, Norway and Finland.

Check out why Denmark has recently been increasing dramatically with infections, hospitalizations, ICU's occupancy while Norway and Finland have much better Covid-19 performance.

Also, look closely at Sweden in comparison to other countries that did not lockdown such as New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. Those countries are greatly outperforming Sweden in their Covid-19 performance because they have excellent contact tracing, they know how to shut their borders if needed, they shut down the violators that go maskless / over-capacity in social gatherings.

Yet, like other countries...they have Covidiots too.

I've recently discover after suspecting for several months that countries like Canada, United States and a few others that had travel bans or shut their borders...

In reality those that were rich or had private planes are able to "easily" bypass those travel bans without having to do any testing nor quarantine after they arrived to their destinations.
