As gwb said, those people can earn millions in a lawsuit. And there will be many lawyers who will be happy to take their case.
I think masks have slowed the virus spread from what it could have been.
That's a scary thought.
They say that had nobody been wearing masks...we could easily > 500k dead by now instead of the current levels around +140 dead.
Yet, they also say had everybody been wearing face masks, washing hands and social distancing...staying at home to hang out with just the family since day 1 when a Pandemic was declared...
We could easily have < 10k dead.

Yes, maybe the spike would have been tenfold. Who knows.
Bubonic plague is also a normal occurence, yet somehow we wouldn't put up with it.
I am just waiting until maybe the kids but definitely the teachers start to get dying, how people's approach is going to change.

Kids? Probably not. Teachers? For sure. Schools are cesspools, most new teachers catch everything in their first 2-3 years.
Unlikely in my view that teachers would be a high risk group. I have heard that letting the virus run and learning to live with it may be our best course of action.

1. Depends, compared to what? To truck drivers, definitely. To health care workers, less risky.
the point is that children are by definition careless and teenagers can spread the virus as well as adults, with the notion of not needing to care. If the average teacher is like the average American (42% obese, diabetic, etc.) then no, I wouldn't want to be a middle age teacher until there is a vaccine.
2. I have heard that the Earth is flat. If you like that view, just say so, don't blame your view on second hand info. If you are fine with 3 million extra dead (1% death rate), that is not a bad view point.
