No, the final ruling will come from the Supreme Court, not sure when.
 
Aren't most congressmen lawyers? You'd think they could write a bill that was constitutional; assuming they wanted to.

I think Pelosi and Reed allowed their overwhelming desire to force a national healthcare system into place overide their common sense and legal experience. I believe they also thought that they could get it into place before it could be repealed in congress, they were right about that. But I doubt they anticipated that the judiciary would do the right thing and probably believed they could influence them in their direction.

Why make a law if you're only going to ignore it?
 
Common practice: Ignore the law based on this court decision declaring the law as it stands unconstitutional.
