Obama has culled the leadership of the US Military. Hundreds of Generals have been dismissed, I have to assume that is so the leadership can be transformed into something that would be useful in taking over the country. Obama's leftist world view is leaking it's way down the ladder.

This is the way the Left operates. They can now control who gets admitted to the military academies. Do you think the kind of middle America, staunchly Christian patriot who has always been the backbone of the academies is what they are looking for now, or do they subtly favor obvious liberals? The kind of guys who participated in the LGBT club instead of the football team?

They also control promotion boards, those crucial tests of who gets to stay on a career track and who gets the boot. Once it is seen that those who are out of step are getting shafted, most of the rest of the careerists will quickly fall into line. I suspect that has already happened.

We will wake up one day and find we have the typical banana republic army, one that is highly politicized and more adept at domestic repression than war-fighting.
