There should be more concern over the specialist's "guidance". Paper's worth his bid. Period.

Just WHERE do you think the shares are going? While you were short, the shares you were involved with had TWO owners.

Mozillo may control operations. He doesn't control the stock only feeble attempts via guidance and other assorted media releases.

EPS that varies of guidance is an excellent alibi for the ax to gather more paper (or distribute as the case may be).

There is no precision in earnings. Hinges upon what's counted, what's NOT counted, and...............HOW what's counted is counted.

That was one of over a dozen entries and exits on both the short and long side in CFC, HOV, Len, CTX, KBH, PHM......today.
They have been great for traders.
Buy the sell offs, short them into strength.

Shorted the gap open 2000@14.37///closed $13.48. CFC is the one out of the 2+ dozen housing sector stocks heading south. $13.50ish at the moment. Shorted 2000 PHM Hov, 1000 Ctx also, covered at 7:50.
Trade the market and sector volatility. Very easy to do.
