Looks like LUNC is still tanking hard. Those suckers who thought they'd still get back some of those life savings... keep dreaming.

Even ETH can't pump up the markets right now with that abysmal CPI we just had. Lots of pain for equities for a long time ahead I fear (well, maybe I'm not so scared).

Scared money don't make money

I'm a noob trader, not elite, entered the position earlier while out of the house

While on the freeway, with the Tesla on Autopilot, I glanced at the Eth price it already hit my target of 20 points down, but Eth is so weak today coz it's post-Merge event, that it's all good

Looking to re-enter Eth short again but it's down even more way below those 3 squiggly lines

There are far too many variables right now for me to trade confidently. Too many unknowns and we still don't know what we don't know. For the first two years of Covid, ETH was easy-peasy any idiot could make money just shorting PUTs or going long, etc. Buying up before the Tap-root & EIP updates...

Even when Musk turned his back on BTC, we bought the dip because we knew it still had to rise again (and it did of course).

Now... the equities fuck-up by western governments have made this hard to predict unless you have something like a Pelosi crystal-ball. Sadly, I do not.

I should have started a career in fucking politics. lol

Tonight, my REIT portfolio is already dumping dividends since it's the middle of the month again. Tomorrow morning I will see what happens with crypto. Unless the blue-chips have tanked a LOT, I will snatch up more REIT units while the fire-sales still burn.

If crypto is too risky for some, you can still buy into Office REITs and get close to 10% yield while the cash-flow is still positive (for now). The risk, is how far and how long the western depression is going to last... We've already had some big names declare bankruptcy during the pandemic (retail).

Dr. Burry is very bullish on prison REITs...

Personally, I am keeping a close watch on multi-family residences with a big discount to NAV. They double as an inflation-hedge.

I'm so desperate to trade short Eth, I did not even wait for the price to hit the 2nd squiggly line. I'm very non-elite unlike you guys

I trade ether futures through the CME exchange.

I see that there was an opportunity to short Ether yesterday during the early part of the US session.
it was my nontrading session.

I was one of the first to trade the nano-ether futures (or was it micro-ether futures?) when they first came out by CME. I was hoping to also try out Options ON Ether futures, but those are reserved for the big BTC contracts that only institutions can afford to risk. Sadly...

Yea, since discovering this crypto perp futures, been trading day and night and early morning and weekends, basically around the clock. Still much to learn and one of them is how to set a schedule

I closed my short Eth position I put on yesterday for over 100 points this morning but I had to stare down some price manipulation shenanigans

I suspect Ethereum whales, but who knows, could be some institutional buy programs

I'm not experienced in TA but there's something strange with those very long candle wicks (see chart)

Those green candles started 15 minutes before the merge and past the merge implementation

I figure if they have the conviction and willingness to spend that much money to prop up the price of Eth, then I'm willing to get liquidated. I added a little more collateral and went to sleep

those long tails were because

some felt it should go up,
some felt it should go down.
Then some felt it should go up.
Then some felt it should go down.

subsequently, they decided it should be down.

Closed the position for a 17+ points... It did hit over 20 points but wanted to close the position so I can focus on Eth-pow fork chain

I put $15K worth of erc-20 stablecoins and tokens on a wallet last night, now that the Merge has taken place and Ethereum is POS, I can collect the Eth-pow mirror image of those coins on the Eth-pow blockchain
