Flynn’s plea deal is busted down charge related to him illegally conducting foreign policy when he promised Kislyak Trump would remove sanctions on Russia. He then lidd to the fbi about it in a routine screening interview all incoming White House staff go through.

If he wants to vacate the plea deal then he will be prosecuted like Manafort and Stone and sent to jail.

Nope. Other way round.

They busted him down and the shenanigans of the FBI have since been exposed, including their withholding exculpatory evidence and he has a top notch attorney now who nows that the FBI does not want the discovery and cross-examination that they would have to endure. And even if he did go to trial and lose, well then that is okay too if it is a fair trial- versus the dirty tricks they used to control the outcome thus far.

Also, in regard to going to jail "like Mannafort and Stone," ahhh, wrong again. Trump will pardon him in a New York minute. And the public knows even more with each passing day how dirty the FBI at HQ is so pardoning Flynn will not draw the outrage that you might think. Flynn was interviewed and allegedly lied to Stroz for gawd's sake. One of the FBI's premier scumbags. To make matters worse, even Strzok said in his 302 that he thought Flynn was being truthful but that exculpatory evidence was with-held from him.

Ahhh, no. Time to put this Flynn thing to rest in a proper, non-dirty manner. That could include a fair trial, but dismissal is fine too.

According to you Strzok is not credible. You don’t get to have it both ways. Either he is credible or he is not.

However, it does not matter what Strzok said because he copped to a lesser charge, that he admitted to.

If he wishes to vacate the plea agreement, you won’t see me crying because that’s his right. He can go to trial and work it out there. However, he knows full well the Trump goon gang has not fared well at trial so I doubt he wants to go.

As to Trump pardoning Flynn, it’s within his power so go ahead. It will just be another turd on the pile shit Trump has amassed while in the White House.

No. Whether he is credible or not is neither here nor there. You are trying to view it as "he either is or is not" because that is how your binary mind processes everything.

The point is that Strzok said in his 302 that he believed that Flynn was being truthful and since that is exculpatory evidence it should have been disclosed to the defendant regardless of whether Strzok's statement is true or not true.

Also, in regard to your statement that it is his right to "vacate" the plea. That is not true either at this late stage. He was/is deep, deep into the process, at the point of sentencing, well past the point when a court allows withdrawal of a plea without substantial reason and cause. I believe he does present cause but he has no right there at this point, he has to make a case that we denied a fundamental right or that the government acted in bad faith in some area at the time of the plea deal.

Strok, again, doesn’t matter. Flynn didn’t have a right to discovery during an fbi interview. But, still, he admitted his guilt. There is nothing exculpatory at this point.

He admitted his guilt based on what the government stated it had for evidence, which is that the investigators allegedly had concluded that he lied in his interview. That was false. The 302's said the opposite. Further the government directly told him that he did not need to have a lawyer present in some of the interview because they just wanted some background information when in fact he was already a target. Not pretty.

In regard to the exculpatory evidence, the government has already been forced to turn over much by the judge so that point is beyond dispute, or at least to the judge who matters, not you. And his attorney alleges that there is more and wants to do more and has cited specific material that is being with-held. Your binary mind has determined that there is none but you don't know and you are not the judge. Much to your chagrin, some of these judges are not as happy and trusting of the FBI as you are these days and that works to Flynn's favor. The judge knows there was misconduct by the government. We are just talking about how much.
