I’ve been trying figure out what you are talking about with McCabe because I’m not sure you understand and what I came by was an analysis of McCabe and his lawyers meeting with Rose by of all people Benjamin Wittes.
For those who do not know Wittes he is very much on the justice beat and either owns or edits writes I don’t know Lawfare blog which is big in the Justice circles.
He actually thinks McCabe will be indicted based off n the Rosen meeting for something related to lack of candor related to his releasing information to the Wall Street journal for of all things, you guessed it, the Clinton investigation.
For those that don’t know about this, there was a time when Republican politicians were going to the media claiming the fbi was not actively investigating Clinton and the email stuff so McCabe, like Comey, bent to political pressure and released info that was damaging to Clinton- that she was in fact under active investigation.

Also, for anyone that does not know Wittes and Comey are personal friends and yes Comey and McCabe are beefing and so Rosenstien and all of them too. So take all of this with a grain of salt.
Alright well, you have studied up a bit since my post and found yourself now agreeing with what I said, but trying to crabwalk around and be right about some various points. There is a lot going on with McCabe right now, and there is a grab-bag of issues and areas of exposure that one could seize upon or focus on depending on the development of the week. I simply said that I have always said for years that McCabe will be indicted, but that my belief in that waivered for the last couple months, but that I am back to believing that again. And that his lawyers are known to be meeting with the Deputy Attorney General to try to tamp something down. That's all. Now you come along and support that view but speculate that it is upon a different set of McCabes dozens of issues. Fine, whatever, I said they were trying to tamp down "something" which takes in quite a lot, being a general term. We can agree he has many problems that the DOJ could seize upon, except on even numbered days when you tell me that I am tin foil to suggest that they are even investigating him. Whatever.
Here is what I said in part in my post. I stand by it.

"Just to open my kimono and create an opportunity for future ridicule I will comment on McCabe:
Regular viewers know that for years I have alleged that McCabe will eventually be indicted (not sure he can be successfully prosecuted in DC, but that is another matter). Just to be upfront, I will say that my view on that changed during the last couple months or at least it went into the "I dunno" category. But now I am back to thinking that he will be indicted. The atmospherics surrounding him are still not good, and his legal team recently met with the Deputy Attorney General. They obviously are trying to reverse something that has been decided at a lower level."
