Since, in the quote, Coulter is not presenting her own thoughts on the subject, it's not evident whether or not her thinking is that of a mass murderer or not (one would suspect that she does not think like a mass murderer). What she is presenting is the thinking of Islamic radicals (as well as a basic fundamental of the Koran).

She is presenting her own thoughts, not the thinking of Islamic radicals (why would Islamic radicals want to convert themselves to Christianity?). Here is the whole paragraph. It reflects very clearly what her thoughts are.

I wish I could permit my ever amplifying disgust for these avaricious impurities to become dormant for several years, but I can't... Please... the quote in question, minus the vaguely related reference to our actions in WWII, clearly is a reference to the platform of the Islamists whose handbook says convert or be killed. BTW, the date of the article is 9/12/01.
