Coulter's sarcasm showed contempt at most, not hatred. There is a difference, although liberals refuse to recognize it.

If Ann Coulter were a mass murderer genocidal maniac who plunged the entire world into war, then it might be appropriate to call her Hitler. Until then, try to appreciate the difference between speech and actions.

I'll grant you that there is a difference in degree. Then the question is, what is the tolerable level? For the sake of argument, if we say Hitler is 100 on the scale of hatred (mass murder, etc), and Coulter is 10 (didn't she call for the mass murder of political opponents?) what is the acceptible level for a functioning society? You seem to set the level somewhere around 20, but most of us think the proper level is perhaps 1 or 2.

The hatred (contempt in your word) that Coulter has for 50% of Americans is very clear. It's fair to compare that hatred to Hitler, even if it is only a fraction of the level of Hitler.
