Are you on drugs? Kerry was Swift Boated by er.....veterans who served with him.
He fabricated his record, met with the enemy, testified in Congress that his fellow soldiers were "criminals" and threw away his medals.
"Mr. Kerry was assigned to Swiftboat 44 on December 1, 1968. Within 24 hours, he had his first Purple Heart. Mr. Kerry accumulated three Purple Hearts in four months with not even a day of duty lost from wounds, according to his training officer. It's a pity one cannot read his Purple Heart medical treatment reports which have been withheld from the public. The only person preventing their release is Mr. Kerry. "

It's amazing how people's reality gets so twisted by their perceptions.
Just one small correction, Kerry later claimed to have only thrown his ribbons away, not his medals, or something like that, he is still deciding which. Kerry was definitely the guy in the movies that his subordinates fragged. That's FRAG with an "R".

As for coulter, .... blah. An idiotic thing to say. She could claim that she never called Edwards a FAG. She only suggested that if she did she be hauled away. VERY CLEVER! "Ambulance Chaser" would have been far more accurate, and meaningful. I wrote that broad off awhile ago after her attacks on the 911 widows ...
Rearden Metal's was the best response, point the finger right back at them. I'm sure the people once seen burning effigies of Bush in nazi garb and the regular mockers of people's faith are outraged.

G.O.P. Candidates Criticize Slur by Conservative Author
By ADAM NAGOURNEY
WASHINGTON, March 3 â Three of the leading Republican presidential candidates on Saturday denounced one of their partyâs best-known conservative commentators for using an antigay epithet when discussing a Democratic presidential contender at a gathering of conservatives here.
The remarks by Ann Coulter, an author who regularly speaks at conservative events, were sharply denounced by the candidates, Senator John McCain of Arizona, Rudolph W. Giuliani of New York and Mitt Romney of Massachusetts. Their statements came after Democrats, gay rights groups and bloggers raised a storm of protest over the remarks.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference before an overflow crowd on Friday, Ms. Coulter said, âI was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word âfaggot,â so I â so kind of an impasse, canât really talk about Edwards.â
Mr. Edwardsâs aides responded with an e-mail message that attacked Ms. Coulter and urged supporters to donate to Mr. Edwardsâs campaign. âJohn was singled out for a personal attack because the Republican establishment knows he poses the greatest threat to their power,â said his campaign manager, David E. Bonior. âSince they have nothing real to use against him, Coulterâs resorting to the classic right-wing strategy of riling up hate to smear a progressive champion.â
Ms. Coulter, asked for a reaction to the Republican criticism, said in an e-mail message: âCâmon, it was a joke. I would never insult gays by suggesting that they are like John Edwards. That would be mean.â
At the conference, she said she was likely to support Mr. Romney.
The criticisms by the Republican candidates put them in a difficult position because the Conservative Political Action Conference has been gathering for conservative and Republican leaders for over 25 years.
The speakers this year included Vice President Dick Cheney and most of the presidential candidates, whose presence suggested the political influence the group holds in the partyâs nominating process. Mr. Cheney was not at the event on Friday.
Of the major Republican candidates, only Mr. McCain did not attend, but he denounced her remarks on Saturday morning. âThe comments were wildly inappropriate,â said his spokesman, Brian Jones.
Mr. Giuliani said, âThe comments were completely inappropriate and there should be no place for such name-calling in political debate.â
Kevin Madden, a spokesman for Mr. Romney, said: âIt was an offensive remark. Governor Romney believes all people should be treated with dignity and respect.â
Mr. Romney preceded Ms. Coulter at the event and mentioned that she was speaking later â he jokingly referred to her as a âmoderate.â But he was not in the room when she spoke, Mr. Madden said.

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:
You can tell these candidates are true Republicans. The minute some democrat squawked, they immediately turned on one of their own. By contrast, one of Obama's big financial supporters called President and Sen. Clinton "liars" and other disparaging terms. Hillary's camp immediately demanded an apology, etc. Did Obama fall all over himself apologizing or distancing himself from Geffen? No, he stuck it up their nose.
I guess it was just beyond the Republican candidates to say they weren't responsible for Coulter, any more than Hillary is responsible for what Michael Moore or Arian Huffington says.

I am really torn by your comments.
On the one hand, it is quite flattering that you would think of me as having the same type of audience, stature, following and impact as someone of Coulter's pundit rank in the republican party, given your base of experience regarding me is strictly limited to exposure that is the world of an anonymous message board.
On the other hand, perhaps the meds need further adjustment to help you with your resentment produced delusions...
What Does The BigBook Say About Resentment?
I see resentment crop up in meetings and out in the "world" every now and again, as egos and personalities get to working before principles. The following is from my archives ... something to read again and think about.
The word resentment comes from the Latin word "sentire" which means, "to feel", and when you put "re" in front of any word, it means "again", so the word resent means "to feel again". It includes people, institutions or principles with whom we were angry, with whom we were hurt or threatened or interfered with, with whom we felt had wronged us, with whom we stayed sore at, with whom we felt "burned up" toward, and with whom we held a grudge.
I would like to add the following as well: People, institutions
or principles which we are annoyed with, agitated by, or let down by; and I also like to suggest that this includes our regrets [from "gratan", to weep, i.e., to weep again] because regret is resentment toward ourself.
I always thought that resentment was reasonable, acceptable, and almost fun at times. Resentment became a way of life for me because it seemed like I had problems with or was annoyed by most of the people, institutions or principles I knew.
But, if we want to recover from alcoholism, the BigBook says, "We saw that these resentments must be mastered," and here's why:
1. Resentment is the "number one" offender. It destroys more alcoholics than anything else. From it stem all forms of spiritual disease. (Page 64)
2. It is plain that a life which includes deep resentment leads only to futility. (Page 66)
3. It is plain that a life which includes deep resentment leads only to unhappiness (Page 66)
4. To the precise extent that we permit these [deep resentment], do we squander the hours that might have been worth while. (Page 66)
5. But with the alcoholic, whose hope is the maintenance and growth of a spiritual experience, this business of resentment is infinitely grave. (Page 66)
6. We found that it [this business of resentment] is fatal. (Page 66)
7. For when harboring such feelings [resentment] we shut ourselves off from the sunlight of the Spirit. (Page 66)
[There is a native word of greeting, Ky'hoo'ya, which means "Walk In The Sunlight of the Spirit", and is also a fitting acronym for "Keep Your Head Out Of Your Ass."]
8. [When we harbor resentment] the insanity of alcohol returns. (Page 66)
9. [When we harbor resentment] we drink again. (Page 66)
10. For alcoholics these things [including resentment] are poison. (Page 66)
11. We began to see that the world and its people really dominated us. In that state, the wrong-doing of others [resentment], fancied or real, had power to actually kill. (Page 66)
12. We have listed and analyzed our resentments. We have begun to comprehend their futility. (Page 70)
13. We have listed and analyzed our resentments. We have begun to comprehend their fatality. (Page 70)
14. We have commenced to see their [resentment's] terrible destructiveness. (Page 70)
15. Never forget that resentment is a deadly hazard to an alcoholic. (Page 117)
16. The greatest enemies of us alcoholics are resentment, jealousy, frustration, and fear. (Page 145)
17. I can't afford resentments against anyone, because they are the build-up of another drunk. (Page 325)
18. I realized I had to get rid of it [a resentment toward his mother], for my reprieve was running out, and if I didn't get rid of it I was going to get drunk. (Page 552)
Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:
I see you are supportive of RM's logically fallacious thinking too.
Person A is committing a crime, lets say a rape.
Person B, is also engaged in a criminal act at the exact same time, is in fact an ex-con on parole, a convicted rapist, who committed a rape earlier that day and Person B is picking someone's pocket, and while doing so witnesses the crime of Person A in progress.
Person B yells out so that bystanders who were not paying attention also see the crime of Person A.
On the basis of person B's yelling and notifying others of the crime of Person A, Person A is apprehended and brought to justice.
Person B got away with picking the pocket of the person he was stealing from, and was not caught, and he was a rapist who ratted out another rapist.
Now tell me that because Person B, "hypocritically" ratted out another criminal, a fellow rapist, that somehow makes Person A not a criminal, or that it was wrong for Person B to notify others of the crime of Person A?
I fail to see Coulter's "humor."Quote from Trader5287:
I'm giving this one to Coulter.
Anyone else want to come forward and admit they think it's funny? Been quietly LMAO all weekend - - here you are running for Pres. and this bombthrower calls you a faggot.
