Coulter bitch slaps Olbermann (again)

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

OK, it's nonsense. This guy is some loser trying to get on Tv or sell a book. He is smart enough to know that one tried and true way is to be a "former republican" who came clean.

His arguments make no sense whatsoever. Republicans created the financial mess? FNM and FRE were democrat operations, run by democrat political hacks. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and dozens of other democrats were instrumental in everything from pushing sub-prime affirmative action mortgages to protecting FNM/FRE when Bush was trying to rein them in. Let's not spare the NY hedge fund community and investment bankers, who we were told endlessly during the campaign were big democrat supporters. Much of thsi bailout culture got started under Clinton and his Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, the same dolt who steered Citi into the ditch while pocketing $120 million.

Opposing Obama is somehow "obscene?" Why? Has the First Amendment been repealed? Obama has produced one giant spending/tax plan after another, all designed to fool the voters into thinking his carefully planned lurch into Chavez-style socialism is somehow essential to preventing the next Great Depression. Even lifelong democrat activists like Jim Cramer and Paul Krugman have taken Obama to task.

The fact is we have a guy running the country who lacks the stature to stand up to the democrat crooks in congress and who apparently took his policy ideas from Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers.

Somehow thundercrackhead thinks a true conservative would actually support Obama's spending.

He is actually trying to convince people that.

It is as if he does not even know what liberals and conservatives stand for.

Thunderdog proclaiming that some fake fiscal conservative who is for Obama's spending would be like me proclaiming that socialists are for small government.

The fact that thunderdog does not have the ability of making this connection only makes him the more pitiful and laughable at the same time.

Bush was in charge while this happened and was in charge of the federal regulation agencies. No matter what sins Bush, Frank and others committed it does not excuse the banks for their sub prime lending schemes and the credit default swap schemes. It is a joke to suggest the politicians are responsible for the dishonest, and fraudulent business practices of the banks. It isn't possible but they, the bankers, should be criminally liable. The easy lending came under the Bush administration and Greenspan. Turn off Rush and put down the Coulter books, I can only imagine how hard it is to think clearly with that crap going between your ears everyday. And come on blaming Clinton for the financial meltdown, that's weak and you know it.

Edit: I guess the SEC and other agencies probably are due some blame for their inaction.

He said it was caused soley by republicans, which is demonstrably false. Bush made many mistakes, and i have criticized him for them. One thing he got right was that FNM/FRE were headed for trouble, and he attempted to rein them in. Congress, lef by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, himself the beneficiary of a sweetheart mortgage, thwarted these efforts. There are numerous youtubes of Frank saying how sound FNM was.

Look, I don't deny any of the stuff you write about the bankers, but it is not relevant to the point I was making.

Tell me about it.

:D    This whole damn board is in need of some serious therapy.

I skipped pages 2-8 in this thread but Ann Coulter is nuts. As a current Cornell student, her whole rant that only the Arts and Science school is the only Ivy school at Cornell is a load of BS. I have never heard that statement and neither has anyone else here. It is also sad that she is backstabbing a fellow Cornellian. The AG school actually has one of the best reputations (for an agriculture program) in the country so she must be smoking some good crack.

Are the entrance standards the same? Do you get accepted then choose Ag as a major or vice versa?

Well no fucking shit junior. Did you just get your juice box?

The teleprompter has been used since it was invented in 1950. Get it...or no?

Quote from NeoRio1:

He reads a telepromter...Huh I wonder who else does that?

Quote from Thunderdog:

Only a fool would quote Ann Coulter for anything other than satire or parody.

True.
She's such a hypocrite when it comes to factual information that it isn't even funny.

Leave it to her to state that the Von Trapp Family singers came from Germany:

"Then there's George Soros, who compared Israel to Nazi Germany and President George Bush to the Nazis. Soros later denied comparing Bush to the Nazis, saying he had merely said Bush reminded him of "the Germans." Hmmm, which Germans was Soros referring to -- the Von Trapp Family? Katarina Witt and Steffi Graf? Eric Braeden from "The Young and the Restless"? Wouldn't Soros like Bush if he were similar to the new pacifist, America-hating Germans? If not, why did liberals keep pestering us to get Germany's approval before we invaded Iraq?"
