I live on a nice, quiet cul-de-sac with about 10 houses. For Christmas, we all gathered in my neighbor's house to do the whole "Mexican grab bag" thing where everyone brings a gift under a certain value and then you can steal it from the guy who opened before you, etc.
I brought one of those fur hats and it was the most coveted gift! One of my neighbors won it and I saw him shoveling snow in it last week!
