Could Someone Tell me What these guys are protesting... specifically

They can make their voices heard all they like...off the field. They are paid to play football, not demonstrate political activism or complain about how tough it is to be black. They have celebrity, a microphone, and a willing media to let them tell their story. It is a discussion worth having, just not on the football field.

They are playing football.Nobody's doing protest interviews during the game.

I thought they were protesting for the right to be paid 15 dollars an hour. I am pretty sure that if they were making at least that, they would not be out there complaining about what a sucko country this is.

Oh wait, nevermind, I think it is just Colin Crockernik who is hoping to make at least 15 dollars an hour this season. My bad.

These lefties don't learn. Movie attendance is down because of the big mouth fools in hollywood. Their media is piling up financial loses. People have cut the cord on CNN and ESPN . Now pro sports, which was once the refuge from b.s. politics is being disgraced.

It just smells.

Collectively this group of players, owners and sponsors have the money and the pull to make the changes.
Get off your knees and do something concrete.

Hands up... change the channel... I am not buying.

Thats like a college calculus professor asking a first grader for math help.

Thank you for the textbook example, Tony!

So when AAA says:

Let's be honest. We are not talking about big brain intellectuals. Most of these players are severely below average in intelligence and lacking basic judgment and impulse control.

Futurecurrents claims he is being racist for it:

And they wonder why we call them racists.

Typical racist Fascist Trumptard.

Zieg Heil Trump!

But when AAA says to consider NASCAR, you can say this:

Thats like a college calculus professor asking a first grader for math help.

And somehow it's not racist? I'd like to understand how that works, Tony. Please enlighten me.

How can AAA be called racist for suggesting NFL players are below average in intelligence and lacking basic judgment skills, but you can't be racist when you insult NASCAR folks in precisely the same manner?

Or are you racist, too?

Under Armour issued a statement that was up the middle saying they support the flag and the players.

So, I decided I might buy one when I go out shopping for golf shirts.

But... I pictured myself playing golf in a UA shirt. I saw how open I would be to the comment... hey snowflake what are you protesting this week.

Its not going to happen.
I would feel like someone who was supporting the groups disrespecting our country.

Its obvious Hollywood and The NFL don't care if you are a customer jem

that is where your racist dnc bubble thoughts are wrong again young confused padwan.

you can tell by the ads my demographic and my family are exactly what the want.
For instance they need people who buy new cars.

My wife and I purchased a new Tahoe and a new Explorer in the last two years to fit our 4 kids. Not bragging because as single guy I might have had more disposable income than I have now... but I am the personification of the demo that spends big dollars on the stuff their sponsors are selling.

They alienate my demographic... and they are... and they will lose massive advertising dollars.

regarding hollywood... maybe to some degree they are willing to sell a hundred million less a movie... but... if you read some of the trade articles you see that movie studio offerings are contracting.

Jem they keep telling you with their actions they don't care if you are a customer. You are not as important as you think you are.The majority of NFL fans will continue to watch, males need sports. They might boo and whine about kneeling but most will continue to watch. The few like yourself who cant get over it they are willing to spare.

its a private business... they can destroy an Icon like Pan American airways if they wish. People build up business then heirs and cronies sometimes destroy them.

fools alienating their fans....

The L.A. chargers had about 21,000 at their game yesterday.

(save Jerry Jones who seems to understand things... so far.)

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: the crowd at StubHub Center for a San Diego Los Angeles Chargers game was awful. A huge portion of the crowd were Kansas City Chiefs fans, and for the fourth time in four games at the stadium (including two preseason contests) there were plenty of empty seats. And just a friendly reminder, StubHub only seats 27,000.

How bad was it? Well, the Chargers knew the crowd was so pro-Chiefs that they didn’t even do player introductions over the public address system due to fears their own players would get booed. In their home stadium. In a new city the league told us was so desperate to have the NFL that it could support two teams. A city Dean Spanossaid contained 25 percent of the team’s fans.

So, the “Fight for LA” is going swimmingly it appears.

Jem The Chargers and Rams are teams that just relocated to a new city and are playing in shitty temporary stadiums while their new 2.6 billion dollar stadium is being built.Every other teams attendance is similar to what it was in 2015 and 2016 .
