What worries me is the Congressional approval rating has made new lows for years, yet the American public vote in the same representatives, time and again. This tells me that while Americans hate the direction of the Country, they are too afraid to change it by betting on somebody (something new). The establishment will start there, play on those fears, and if Rand or Cruz get traction, then pull out every dirty trick in the book.
