You need to get out more, the women in my life certainly don't "surf facebook every waking minute". But if they did, there's huge value there, television never had that kind of market share. The entire entertainment industry is a useless thing as well, right? Not real like a truck. And books, what a waste of time nose down in a book when you could be driving somewhere in something real like a truck. Hint: When you find yourself in an intellectual hole, the first thing you should do is stop digging!

You keep moving the goal post. Only a few posts ago you were anti-technology. Then you called yourself a techy and listed a bunch of anti-apple tech. Now, you're talking about simply being anti-apple.

No doubt. I don't dispute this. However, I would suggest to you that 20 $1000 iPhones for 20 people has the potential to create greater overall value than one 20K Ford.

You've gone on and on both in this thread and others about how essentially any company that doesn't make something you can grab hold of with your own two hands is an overvalued flash in the pan. As most of the companys the tech giants buy up costing 24 Billion in 1 case, end up within a few years ceasing to exist, then they have no real value.
Apple started over priced phones but everyone else jumped on that band wagon.
My gripe is Tech companies are stupid and waste vaste amounts of money on crappy apps anyone could rewrite and I don't want them messing around outside there tech sectors cause there idiots who think there smart cause there the in thing so there massively over valued but stupid with all there decisions.
