I am wanting to do some backtesting using COT data and Open Interest.
I have used tradestation in the past for my backtesting but I have heard that the COT and open interest data is not accurate on tradestation for past data. I have read that Genesis Financial is one of the best resources for COT/OI data. I have never used Genesis nor do I care to pay for another data feed.
So I am curious if anyone has used both and could tell me if there is a difference between the data in the two platforms. Also if anyone has any other comments or ideas that would be appreciated.
