Cost to withdraw funds from account

I see Tastyworks wants $5 to withdraw funds:

"Outbound domestic check disbursements incur a fee of $5.00"
https://tastyworks.com/help-2.html

"Note that a fee of $25.00 is incurred on outbound domestic wires."

I know all brokers want to discourage withdrawal of funds by imposing fees.

"IB allows one free withdrawal request per calendar month. After the first withdrawal (of any kind), IB will charge the fees listed below for any subsequent withdrawal":

North America

Currency,
Wires, Checks, ACH/EFT
USD , 10.00 , 4.00 , 1.00

What does it cost to withdraw from your broker?

Before you start taking money out, got to really really hope that $5 isn't a lot of money to you any more :)

$25 FXCM, not enough to care about either way.

To add to the information Turveyd provided, while there is a fee for bank wire requests, there are no fees for withdrawals from your FXCM account by credit card, debit card, ACH, BACS, EFT or SEPA.

I read that, there used to be right ?? not going to say I paid to much attention recently.

There used to be a fee for card withdrawals years ago. However, it has been free to withdraw funds back to your debit card or credit card for from your FXCM account for many years now, not to mention several free electronic transfer options like ACH, BACS, EFT and SEPA. Furthermore, Active Trader account holders can qualify for free bank wire transfers as well.
